1. Check the connection wires
Most of the times loose wiring can result in blank display error; ensure the connecting wires are properly fitted and has not come out loose.
2. Test the Monitor
Checking the Monitor for any defect is what you should do before you start any mechanism after checking the wiring of the system. Sometimes the “computer display not working” problem can lie in the monitor itself.
3. Check the Internal Hardware
Checking the internal hardware is the next thing that you should do after ensuring there is no problem with the monitor.
If extra hardware has been added in the motherboard, remove them and restart the computer.  This informs you if the display error has been arising due to some issue in internal hardware.
4. Check the RAM
Most of the times, RAM is the main reason behind a bank monitor. Check the RAM for any defect.
As experienced by many users, simply re-inserting the RAM also solves the problem as most of the times the RAM comes out loose from its slot.
5. Check the Graphic Card
If you have a graphic card installed, remove and plug it in again. Then, check if the problem has been resolved by restarting the computer.
Most of the times the graphic card is not read by the device, which than creates such a problem.
6. Reset the entire Computer
